Bill Thacker
|
Bill Thacker is our Director of Flight School operations. Bill lives in Rural Chenoa on his own private airport. Bill is retired airline captain and spends his time helping others pursue their career in Aviation. Bill is also a certified A&P mechanic and enjoys restoring aircraft at his shop.

Stacey Shrewsbury

Stacey is a CFII and flies for American Airlines. She is also our curriculum director for the LACC Aviation Pilot Program.

Will Eastman - CFII |
Will is a CFI/CFII. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he gained his Private Pilot Certificate in 2021, flying around the busy Atlanta airspace. He then progressed through FAA licenses, and earned his CFI and CFII in 2024. Will is an active member of the Central Illinois aviation community as an active skydive pilot, EAA Chapter 129 member, and a board member of the Crosswinds Flying Club. He believes every student is different, deserves a tailored approach, and always focuses on meeting the unique needs of each student.
Will is available for flight reviews, IPCs, VFR and IFR instruction, and general pilot services. |
Jackson Zimmerman - CFII |
Jack Zimmerman is a CFI/CFII from Chenoa, IL committed to creating a positive, supportive learning environment for every student. With1200+ flight hours and experience instructing at Louisville Aviation, Southern Illinois University and Pontiac Flying Service; Jack brings strong technical skills and a passion for developing safe, skilled aviators. He holds a degree in Aviation Management from SIU, graduating magna cum laude. He is now a first officer at Contour Airlines.
